420J2/420J1/420F stainless steel has a certain wear resistance and corrosion resistance, high hardness, its price is the lower class of stainless steel ball, suitable for ordinary requirements of stainless steel in the working environment. Suitable for all kinds of precision machinery, bearings, electrical, equipment, instruments, meters, transportation vehicles, household appliances, etc. It is widely used in the manufacture of parts resistant to atmospheric, water vapor, water and oxidizing acid corrosion. 420J1 stainless steel: high hardness after quenching, good corrosion resistance (magnetic) 420J2 stainless steel after quenching, higher hardness than 420J1 steel (magnetic).
420J2 also known as 3Cr13 steel is Martensitic stainless steel, used after quenching and tempering. Compared with 1Cr13 and 2Cr13 steel, it has higher strength, hardness and hardenability, but its corrosion resistance and thermal stability below 700℃ are lower than 1Cr13 and 2Cr13 steel. Cold processing performance and welding performance is not good, should be immediately after welding heat treatment to prevent cracking. It has better cutting performance in annealed state.
