Xu Xiangchun told reporters that by the end of this year, China’s Sheet AISI 201 removal of excess capacity may reach 120 million tons. “The overall goal of overcapacity reduction has been completed by 80%. From a numerical point of view, there is not much room for overcapacity reduction in the later stage. The focus of future work is on finishing and correcting the aftermath, and effectively controlling the new capacity.”
