DESCRIPTION OF INDUSTRIAL STAINLESS STEEL SEAMLESS PIPE
Sunning Steel stocks and supplies stainless steel seamless pipes for petrochemical, oil and gas, and industrial applications.
There are several reasons for using stainless steel tubing: corrosion and oxidation resistance, high temperature resistance, low cleaning and maintenance costs, and maintaining the purity of materials in contact with stainless steel. The inherent properties of stainless steel allow the design of thin-walled piping systems without having to worry about early failure due to corrosion. Sunning Steel offers seamless stainless steel tubes that can be annealed, pickled, rolled or polished.

Stainless steel seamless tubes are made from solid billets and processed in the center and outside of the billets to form standard gauge tubes. This process does not include any welding, so historically, seamless pipes have better pressure resistance than welded pipes. It was also easier to obtain seamless tubes in the past. The technology of welded pipes has advanced, which has increased functionality and usability. Seamless pipes cannot be manufactured with smaller wall thicknesses, but if you need stainless steel pipes with small outer diameters and large wall thicknesses, then seamless pipes are your best choice.
