Stainless steel 201 angle steel forming:
Type 201 and 301 stainless steel have similar bending, forming and tensile properties
201 stainless steel fillet welding:
Type 201 can be welded to 18% chromium and 8% nickel steel by all conventional methods. Filler metals for conventional chromium-nickel analysis can be used. Like other austenitic stainless steels (carbon content cannot be controlled below 0.03%), Type 201 is also prone to intergranular corrosion in the heat affected zone of the weld.
